for me it's gotta be katy perry's "et". such a horrible song, whenever it comes on i have to change the channel...

As an IDM listener, I do not use any type of mainstream media to discover music.

I heard a pop cover of "Sweet Child o Mine" with some female lead vocal in the grocery store the other day.

I wanted to crawl in a hole and die.

The song "Teenage Dirtbag" by Wheatus is the first thing to spring to mind. I had a violent reaction to that song when I was 15 or so. I can still remember it all too vividly.

Oops, just realized the sub-header of this topic. I haven't listened to the radio in quite a few years, other than during the occasional car ride. But that new Gaga video someone posted here recently was one of the worst things I'd ever heard... Judas i believe was the title of it. So that would be my least favorite song on the radio right now that I'm aware of, but I suspect if I were aware of everything else that was playing on popular radio right now I would shoot myself in the face.

i quite like some new pop music but i only watch it on tv occasionally. i have heard the top40 stations playing pre recorded dj'd rnb, THAT makes me want to shoot myself.

But seriously... It's not necessarily a terrible song, but I find it to be more of a novelty song, and jesus fucking fucktits from hell do they play this song WAAAAAAY too much on the radio. I swear I've heard this song at least once everyday, since it's come out. I don't even listen to the radio but it seems unavoidable I go somewhere and it's playing over the radio. They did this with his last single played the shit out of it and beat the dead horse until there's nothing but gray matter and horseshoes.

I was under the impression that BEP only did shitty covers. When the played the super bowl more than half of them were covers I knew.
