Went to get some thai sweet basil yesterday and it was £4.50 for a packet that cost 79p a year ago. I know imports have gone up, coconut milk has doubled in price in the past couple of years, but that was taking the piss. Going to look into growing my own.

Home baked bread is unbeatable though! I ain't talking about no bread maker either. You gotta get in there with your hands. The oven adds the nice thick crust i love so much.
