"Planking is the action of lying face down with arms to the sides of the body in unusual places and photographing it"

A few months ago someone posted pics of this in a thread here on WATMM and I couldn't bring myself to believe it was a real fad, until reports appeared in Australian media a few days ago that some dude killed himself trying to plank on his balcony railing. The subsequent flurry of media attention has resulted the planking, er, "community" being invaded by trolls. I can't say I'm sorry, I've been lolling at this shit all day.

I don't know about anyone else but this feels like some straight-up Chris Morris/Jam material to me, it has that exact same absurd quasi-factual feel to it (just needs some SAW backing music)
