i heard a transformer or something go BLAM! then no more lights.

internets is running off of UPS. i am using my laptop to post this. soon we'll be back to the dark ages. i thought we had until saturday before the world ends?

My area has had a few blackouts recently, one of which fried my PC's power supply. Luckily it didn't take the rest of its components with it. It was strange just sitting in a room in the dark thinking about stuff for an hour with no other distractions. Going for a walk is usually the best option. Or cooking on a gas stove, which I also did last time. Imagine how much we'd have to rethink our lives if we no longer had power. Ha.
