tearing my hair out

i just want to monitor post effects... i'm using guitar rig as an insert in an individual channel, and all i can monitor is pre fade. when i play back the effect is all present and correct, but the lack of effect on the monitor channel is affecting the way i play.

i need to hear the guitar with the effect on it. as i play it.

help.

blargle. Could you send the whole track out to a bus and monitor that?

there are little speaker icons on each audio track. have you fiddled about with these?

secondly, in the audio options, there's some checkbox, "direct monitoring." that might help too
