Bodily Functions

This track was originally written for 5.1 surround sound, but this is the stereo version.

It may not sound like it, but every single sound in this composition comes from my body. Everything from the bassline to the percussive bits.

Haha, I didn't create any of the reverbs, since I didn't think it would be worth it, but I did use convolution for the bassline. I convolved a low sung tone from my mouth and one of my kick drums in Kontakt to make the bassline.

Also, I thought about getting an impulse response by farting into a toilet bowl, but I didn't want to risk the expensive mics I was using.

I used some burping and some stomach gurgles, but no farting. No way I'm farting on a $2k Neumann condenser mic.

There's also my heartbeat in there somewhere.
