chatmm

Me being my naive self, I was wondering to myself why no one ever goes in chatmm anymore.. I miss it....

Good times, good times.

I don't go because I don't see anyone in there anymore. and when there are people in there I log in. But people in there talk of nothing that I'm interested in. No offense was intended for the regulars.

Because karmakramer, al5x, bubbhasdance and I have moved on for now. The fact is the three of us had quite an influence on the regulars in there. Like it's summer break and we have had enough of CHATMM. And yeah, the topics are often boring. So I sync albums #exclusively outside of CHATMM instead.

Too much of a circle jerk. The same conversation gets boring after the fiftieth time.

We need video chat. The awkwardness would be great.

I used to reg it but yeah, got bored and left. Needed more fresh faces I think. Same people talking about the same stuff gets stale.

What about this chat where you could play songs to everyone?

Mumu? It is limited to 5 people a chatroom and a bunch of jerkoffs like to change up the tracks....

On a serious note though, we should really try to increase the popularity of chatmm, or at least make an IRC channel. Would be great to chat with some of you.

We just had a pretty good session up in there. Had a good talk and it was just 3 of us.

my only experience with chatmm was during the ae webcast and I had a blast.

we had an irc channel for years, with a web client stickied in every subforum. it had like 2 or 3 idlers, and that was about it.

ae webcast was awesome. Great times. i really like the idea of the music chat player. Maybe i need to give chattm another chance x

a music player based on a voting system for skipping etc would be more interesting....

i.e. there are say 16 people in the room who are listening to the one track together ala Mumu which is fine if they're all enjoying it, however if it's trolling then people cast a vote to skip the track, majority wins out there in that case and it moves onto the next track that was uploaded to the player.

There should also be the case where you can mute as well so you don't HAVE TO be listening to whatever everyone else has decided to listen to together.
