QBLA
Tantric Abstinence: Some Comedian I saw one night on Comedy Central Qtrplxy: from a mutated character on SNL. just added the "y" When The Minutes Drag: A repeated verse from a Love And Rockets Song called Haunted It Virus: John Stewart described the SARS epidemic as an "IT Virus" on the Daily Show Iron Egg Technique: from an old Hip Hop Shaolin DVD(?). There were Shaolin Munks demonstrating the "Iron Egg Style"... gettin' kicked in the nuts and not being phased... changed the word Style to Technique Pig Lizard: an Alien creature on Galaxy Quest. Bizarre Apparatus: A Wrestler back in the 80s had an S&M mask on and the commentator described it as a "Bizarre Apparatus" Beartrap in the Ocean?: From Sealab 2021 Forward Lateral: A Pass in American Football A.Y.C.E.N.: An Acronym for a segment on the Phil Hendrie Show. The Samples of that show are heard throughout the track. Red Right Return: A Navigation Rule in the Navy. Guest Tamas
I decided to name my album Vampire State Building, because of an inside joke between me and some friends, and before I released I noticed that there had been a band and an album already released with that name, but it didn't really matter to me so I released it like that anyways... Guest Blanket Fort Collapse
Flight Of The Navigator : from early late 80s or early 90s? kids movie that the track reminded me of Had the random idea to name two tracks I haven't finished from a couple of months ago after the two movies that kind of sub consciously inspired the vibes for the tracks (Never Let Me Go & Black Swan) and naming the two track EP DBL FTR after the double feature combo movie showings that rarely happen I think that's about it.. Had a working title track called Kristen Bell's Lazy Eye.... uhhh I dunno I'm sure I had a lot of working titles for songs that were references to shit Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/66481-have-you-ever-stolen-a-track-name/#findComment-1591359 Share on other sites

Lucas
As far as I remember I did that once with "Junpei's Sandbugs" which is a reference to a film I saw some months ago and which I found amazing : The Woman in the Dunes. Junpei, the protagonist, likes to collect sand bugs and to classify them. That's not the story at all but anyway just get it and watch it if you didn't already.
