Metz Track VS Alspacka

there's something in those tracks that makes me think they are similar.

something in the structures? in the sounds?

I think they are very different. But I really like both tracks.

Same sort of production style. Probably because they were composed around the same time.

if you slow alspacka down by (ln x^(e^3)) times, x being the number of times you've personally played the drukqs vinyl at the wrong speed, you'll discover that it's actually the same track as the metz one but with squarepusher's mouth being used for all the drum sounds instead

one of the great things about this track, woody bendy bassline is exactly how I feel about it:D!
