Probably the only track I know all the words for -

For some reason my brain never remembers song lyrics.

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

i usually dont annoy my friends with singing but as far as knowing goes:

every captain ahab song, every beatles song off of either the white album, revolver, sgt peppers, or magical mystery tour, every song from leafcutter john's "the forest and the sea", every song off of weird al's "running with scissors", aphex twin's "beetles" and "milk man", every song from peter and the wolf's "lightness", and mad cobra's "flex"

Good man!

I have just about every song on his self-titled debut and "Dare to be Stupid" memorized.

I know most of the words to most of the albums I was listening to between grades 5 and 10, back when there were only a couple dozen artists I was listening to. So that would be most songs by Metallica, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Tool, NIN, Living Color, Tea Party, Alice in Chains, Deftones... it was slim pickin's in those days. Long gone are the days where I memorize the words to full albums.

This album had a real big hit that was pretty lame, but the album itself was pretty goddamn good.

 And APC of course, Radiohead, OK Computer through Amnesiac, most of Bjork's Homogenic, most of Tori Amos' From the Choirgirl Hotel, Smashing Pumpkins' Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness. Since high school the only lyrics I've come close to memorizing are the majority of the Beatles' later albums and Elliott Smith's Figure 8 album. I consume so much music these days that if i listen to an album as many as ten times in a year it's a pretty big deal, whereas in high school I might listen to a favorite album as many times in a couple months. Internet + a constantly growing appetite for new music makes for a pretty ADD music listening routine. And I'm so far from being caught up with all the great stuff that's out there.

Apologies in advance...

I know the lyrics to most of the tracks on that first SG album thanks to my sis playing the shit out of this for the better part of a year...

I can still remember sitting in my room in 8th grade with my Walkman pausing and playing while transcribing this song. I don't even need the beat to recite this whole thing word for word. this was my jam.
