Love this.

(Secretly convinced that Mr D.James was aesthetically travelling so much further and therefore faster than his contemporaries that he achieved a state of time dilation whereby his output is actually infinite. Therefore it is physically impossible to hear every track he has ever released, even for an uber-fan.)

Huh... today I learned about The Philosophy of Sound and Machine, as more than just the nebulous "some compilation that featured Blue Calx first." I really need to pay more attention. It can't have been much more than about a year ago that I hunted down Excursions in Ambience: The Third Dimension and finally heard [stone in Focus]. What other RDJ rarities are there?

Oh, I also briefly had the Wipeout Pure soundtrack pretty much just for Naks Acid, which sounds vaguely like an Analord outtake, but it's not that good, so I sold it.

FUCK I didn't make my sarcasm strong enough. indeed. Let me try again:

I have an mp3 of a remix he did for Beck and one he did for Pikachu. Now I just need to find the .flac of "kickass violin solo" and the DAT tape of him asking Madonna to record pig noises for a remix. Anyone wanna buy my Russian promo CD of the Q-Chastic EP?

You start with a real remix, then a fake. Also the alleged Lemonheads rmx... nevermind. Wouldn't be the first time I've seen it being serious, also you are replying to a new member. oh I get it, you are trying to be funny.

I forgot how often ridiculous jazz topics come up in this forum, I shouldn't even bother if name-checking such obvious fakes are going to produce such concern. That said I'll own up to failed sarcasm, especially in a thread that isn't half bad and to a response by ZoeB that was sincere.
