Hello,

As the title suggests, I'm looking for good rap with "electronic" beats/production.

I don't want to limit the suggestions by providing examples of things I've heard in the past...

However, just to describe where I am, I'm planning to obtain some of Rob Sonic's albums as I've heard he uses heavy electronic elements in what he makes (although I haven't heard much of him) - and I really enjoy Dizzee Rascal's earlier albums, and the type of production he employs for most of the tracks.

I'm looking for albums more than individual tracks, but I appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks!

Anti-pop Consortium - Fluorescent Black

I was going to mention them, but I felt that the OP probably heard of them already.

I never did get around to listening to that.. but Arrhythmia was pretty awesome.

I'd also echo the earlier sentiments for Shadow Huntaz, but only the first album. The second one was a little too much like standard issue Funckarma backing with some raps on top.

The first Passage album on Anticon was great. Kind of synth-pop meets hip-hop. As was the first Restiform Bodies, especially the track where they looped the intro to Tin Omen (or some other Rabies era track) by Skinny Puppy and rapped over the top.

Can't say I can recommend them as I've never heard them, but I recall reading a review of a rap outfit called Missle Command wherein they compared the music to Autechre.
