It does way more. You can share libraries with each other via a secure private URL (username.subsonic.com).

Once I've shared my library with you, you can cache (aka download) any file(s) any songs, albums playlists either on your computer via accessing my secure URL in a web browser b or you can download directly to your phone.

I think apple has the ability to remove software right from your phone, if the app is pulled from the store... they can just automatically delete the "unapproved" app when you update. Enjoy it while it lasts!

Yes well this does seem to do what will be part of icloud functionality, so they probably would pull it.

So it's an ftp server with shoutcast capabilities?
