Good Listnring Sesh

Recommended Posts

Made a few more changes and improvements, so if you feel like dropping in to test it out you'd be doing me a favour:

Also, special experimental feature for the watmm room: an RSS feed that reports the number of people in the room. The idea being you can use this to tell when there is a session in session:

watmm room RSS feed

Thanks to all the people who have frequented in the past!

edit: also:

Here's a quickly hacked together Greasemonkey script that adds a link & user counter to the site navigation. It keeps a cache of 10 minutes so it shouldn't slow down your browsing.

It will need an update when the IP changes though.

Recent improvements: faster server, better playback, settable themes, demo room featuring a few EKT artists, proper front page and faq.

Nice! I'll be sticking with the current Ip for good, so this should work fine.

I don't have any hacking skills myself or I'd do it - but is there anyway to turn this into like a little javascript bookmarklet? I try and keep my extensions limited (down to six at the moment) so haven't installed greasemonkey...

If not possible, that's cool.

maybe, you should make goodlister a ipboard plugin and then sell it to joyrex at $100/yr then it will have that in the top without grease monkey :emotawesomepm9:

I think it will be possible, I'll look into it.

However it might be easier for you just to subscribe to the watmm room rss feed that Ego built the script around.

The greasemonkey script reads the feed via the Google Feed Api, which caches the data for a short time, so if you subscribe to the rss feed directly the number is a bit more up to date.

Firefox lets you put RSS feeds into the favourites bar, maybe other browsers do too.
