After some truly breathtaking halloween ideas posted here in the past, I thought this would be the place for some inspiration.

...a friend's birthday theme is 80s music - had it been 70s I'd have no problem - but I absolutely refuse to go as Bowie or Boy George

The best I've come up with is big suit David Byrne

I have something very similar to this that I will be wearing (some awesome chap at Glade festival had a box full he acquired from a warehouse and he was giving them away!)

Obviously I will be sporting a 'tache as well.

If you're on a budget and have long-ish hair then dress like 80s thrash metal bands did. I did this at the last 80s birthday party I went to but wore an old metallica shirt to make it obvious.
