Mexico Slaughters USA in the Gold Cup

Local news had a bit on how some people (Americans) were upset that the ceremony after the Gold Cup where Mexico punished the USA 4-2 was only in Spanish...

Would Mexico have complained if the US victory ceremony was all in English? I think not...

Lol Howard got pwned..he even took a nice flail at Dos Santos' legs in that sequence. That was a sweet goal by Dos Santos, but I gotta go with Hernandez's back heel against Guatemala:

The goal is so good because he didn't premeditate that, it took a deflection and he improvised in a split second. Natural goal-scorer.

I know - the goal video was separate in what the other topic was, which was the fact the post-game celebration ceremony was all in Spanish...

If the game had been played in Mexico and the ceremony were english only i assure you mexicans would be 100x more pissed.

The difference, and not a minor one, is that 80% of the fans in Mexico City wouldn't be American. It made perfect sense to have the ceremony and postgame bullshit in Spanish.

Let's explore this scenario a bit more - what if both teams were non-Latin teams (say Man U(re) and ARSEnal were playing a game in Mexico somewhere, and the post-game stuff was all in English, since obviously the teams playing were not native Spanish speakers. Would there be outrage?

Speaking of offensive commentators, I cannot STAND when I watch football in Spanish and the commentator makes the missed shots now sound like goals - I'm usually in the other room and I hear this long drawn out "PEEEEEEEERRRRRRDEEEEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOOOOO!" and for a second it makes me think a goal was scored. Cabrones!
