Wavelab by stienberg has spectral editing? news to me, is it more advanced than the spectral editing on Adobe Audition?

Not familiar with adobe audition, but wavelab has it since version 6, some info: http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/jun06/articles/wavelab6.htm

 

cool, i was considering buying the registered version of Wavelab as well as the new Halion, but im a little skeptical on if Halion 4 is an improvement on 3 or just massively reskinned (cool looking)

looks sweet, i hope that the SDK is a little bit accessible cos then it could be (home)built into a really neat thing. there's lotsa limited one-trick-pony style image-to-sound software out there (Image2Sound & SPEAR come to mind), but this might be the best option short of using Jitter&max.
