ghOsty
So not IDM or electronic whatsoever, but I fucking LOVE these guys. I love the older bluesy sound most of their catalog has. I'm going to see them on July 5th and I can't fucking wait ... Cage the Elephant is opening, who I hear is also great live. I really hope the play a handful of the older stuff live. Brothers is a fucking great album though, hell it rightfully earned a Grammy award. Anyone else into these guys? Had this song in my head all day... if they play it I may lose my shit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qq3me71L6NA this vid is great: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpaPBCBjSVc a few other favs... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVJ-DuRZrik http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yqSyK4LHIE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=789hicMCwVU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shM3Nm-wRrs&feature=related Edited June 30, 2011 by ghOsty Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide ghOsty's signature Hide all signatures Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/67153-the-black-keys/ Share on other sites

ghOsty
Brothers is great, I tend to lean towards their older stuff a bit more though. I guess I just really like their take on blues. Brothers is a bit of a departure from that, although great, it's definitely their most radio-friendly album. The songs took a bit more of an indie sound, although better than 90% of all the other indie bands out there. Braintree
They have a lot of great output and are very consistent. I saw them in Columbus, OH back in 2004ish. They put on a great live show. I know the drummer's uncle.
