The Black Keys

So not IDM or electronic whatsoever, but I fucking LOVE these guys. I love the older bluesy sound most of their catalog has. I'm going to see them on July 5th and I can't fucking wait ... Cage the Elephant is opening, who I hear is also great live. I really hope the play a handful of the older stuff live. Brothers is a fucking great album though, hell it rightfully earned a Grammy award. Anyone else into these guys?

Brothers is a great album

Brothers is great, I tend to lean towards their older stuff a bit more though. I guess I just really like their take on blues. Brothers is a bit of a departure from that, although great, it's definitely their most radio-friendly album. The songs took a bit more of an indie sound, although better than 90% of all the other indie bands out there.

They have a lot of great output and are very consistent.

I saw them in Columbus, OH back in 2004ish. They put on a great live show.

I bet that was awesome since they're from Ohio and a good era for them.
