So I downloaded the fruit ninja trial, a couple other free ones, and World of Goo (which is by far my favorite). Any other neat apps I should download?

i'm all over awesome solitaire, tony hawk's pro skater 2, doom, various pinballs (the deep pinball in particular), the simpsons arcade game, shift 2, nba jam and to some degree, super stickman golf (don't let the name fool you).

Can you get SNES9X for free for the Ipod/pad like you can for Androids? That's hours and hours of fun.

street fighter IV on the iphone is the shiznit. E. Honda all day.

Will be checking some of these out when on the crapper shortly.

Something of a tetris-ish puzzle thing but different and no time pressure so you can play it while doing anything, doesnt demand total focus but will probably end up taking all your attention. bricks drop from above and you remove them by making rows/columns that are as long as the number written on the bricks. makes perfect sense when you try it, I've been playing this for over a year. Think it was free when I got it but it might be a buck now.

Tetris - still amazing although it's a little easier than it was in the old days because you can stash a 'tetrimino' (wtf) if it doesn't work for you. The alternate games are shite as well, classic mode is the only good one.

Pokerist.com Texas Poker - nice easy fun poker games if you've got a wifi connection. It's satisfying to win thousands of fake dollars whilst duking one out. Also if you put your photo as a pretty girl depserate men send you free money sometimes, somehow I find that even more satisfying than a real win

Doodlebomb

Fire bombs and use tilting to roll them through obstacles, press buttons etc, a fun puzzle game with enough levels to keep you busy for a while

Tiny Wings

Little bird slides down hills and does jumps, try to build up speed basically and get as far as you can before time runs out. Really good learning curve, played this every day until I stopped beating my high scores.

that tiny wings game is awesome. too bad there's no hd version available though.
