Guest jenny
it's tonally simple. it's 4/4, but not completely straightforward. production-wise, it's kind of crap, it's just a sampler in reason with some reverb. i dunno, i wanted to write something down-key and not have to care about mixing, i'd be glad to hear what you think. http://soundcloud.com/sotis/mormor Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/67308-simple-piano-piece/ Share on other sites

Guest jim
It isn't really 4/4, even if that's the metre you used in reason, which is a good thing as it adds rhythmic interest. Too many root position triads and not quite enough melodic activity for my taste, kinda hovers around the G Maj/E Min area in a way which suggests you didn't quite know how to get out of it. Try respacing the chords and modulating a bit perhaps... Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/67308-simple-piano-piece/#findComment-1615005 Share on other sites
