VST Tracker?

That's going back a bit... if all else fails, you can always buy Impulse Tracker, which is ridiculously cheap and can import Scream Tracker 3 files, and then write them out to wave files, soloing a different channel each time. It's painstaking, but would work... Then you can import those into your DAW and apply whichever effects you like.

in case anyone else cares: modplug -> export as wave -> check "channel mode" will bounce a WAV for each track.

would have been nice to have this as a VSTi where i could just load files (is there one?), but this is good enough.

buy Impulse Tracker

these words confuse me

It was written in assembly over a number of years, by a lone hacker, Jeffrey Lim. It's over 100,000 lines of code by a single person. It costs $30US for non-profit use, which gets you the stereo .wav writer. Personally, I consider that a bargain and I'm glad I helped fund independent programming back in the day, if only in a very small way. I got many hours' worth of use out of this program when I was a teenager.

I was going to suggest the same thing. I was going to have to use that a few years ago when I couldn't get Buzz to work on my new laptop - luckily I didn't need to though as the build of reViSiT I was using as the time was insanely unstable.

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

oh boy! i might just have to get this. programming drums on a piano roll in reaper, using a crappy sampler vst just isn't doing it for me. if one can turn off interpolation on samples as well i may just ejaculate!
