what would you do if you found that your significant other

Say you find about $15,000 in cash in a drawer. Do you panic and assume that it's "up and leave" money in case you ever fuck up? Do you get pissed off because that shit could get stole or is not at least collecting interest in an ING Money Market account? Do you just ignore it and pull from it every time you want a $50 bottle of wine?

This happened to my friend today by the way. He is unsure if he should be concerned. I told him that it's her instantly accessible "up and leave" stash. Maybe she's just a little weird.

I'd ask her if she'd buy me a new computer because of all the money she has, and see where the discussion takes us. I'm sure it'll be a fun ride!

After further discussion, the Amount is now estimated at 2 or 3K instead of the previously thought 15K. I think now it's a non-issue. Everyone has 2 or 3K rolled up in a sock in their sock drawer.

I'm afraid this non-issue is turning out to be an anti-climax. From a 15K Porsche to the 2K stash sock everyone is supposed to have. I can't say I'm a bit disappointed. If I was your friend I would have shown her the door.

at any rate, 15k or 2k, i'd still just be about as open and honest as i would be with anything in a relationship. i'd just say that i stumbled upon it and had no idea what the fuck it was, then i'd say "what the fuck is it?"

I think it depends on my wife's stance on current spending. if I was getting shit for golfing or drinking and she had a cash stash I would be pissed. otherwise I would ask her where we were going with it.

edit: there are a few friends wives I wouldn't mind panty sniffing either. though I'd rather just bang the piss out of them once.
