my point being there are a lot of overpriced ones out there now with imminent repair bills

ever thought of a Dark Energy or Mono Lancet instead?

@ Rbrmyofr: Not exactly. I live in europe where the voltage is 220v. if i buy a synth from say Japan or USA which have 100v and 110v, I will need a huge and expensive voltage converter to be able to use it.

@ soundwave: I know of the Dark Energy synth, it's nice. Mono Lancet i'm not familiar with. But that's not what i'm looking for. overpriced yeah, ofcourse like many other well sought after second hand vintage machines. but on the other hand, it's no more expensive than a cheap laptop. and frankly, i'd rather possess an sh-101 for that kind of money.

the SH-101 runs from like a 9volt supply. it uses a wall adapter power supply. so it doesn't matter whether you get one from Japan or America.
