Spaceghostpurrp - Blvcklvnd Rvdix 66.6 (1991)

Hey,

First off, I just want to say that I love this album. I listened to it on my way to work the other day, and each song just non-stop bangs. And I love the overused Mortal Kombat samples, etc.

However, I've got a crappy setup in my car for music (iPod connected to tapedeck), so the sound quality suffers as is. And the album, or at least my copy, shifts in volume/quality in a major, major way from track to track. So one song sounds fine, the next song (or at least the middle of the album) is so low I can barely hear it, and then the last few tracks are loud again.

Has anyone found a copy, or version, with consistent sound quality throughout?

I was hoping it might just be my copy, as I'd love to listen to it continually straight through without the volume being all fucked up, but I noticed on Pitchfork that their review cited the musician's lack of caring about mixing quality, which I assume alludes to the volume issue from track to track.

If you've got a good one, please let me know. And if you haven't heard this album - fuck. If I could make music, this is what it would sound like (at times =) ).
