fuck man

on my commute home today i was hit in the skull by a partially full 20 oz dr. pepper going over 45 mph (72 km/h).

it really fucking sucks.

i flagged down a policeman shortly after,

but we both knew he couldn't do anything about it. the bottle knocked me off

my bike which unbeknownst to me went completely flat while i was a at work.

my helmet flew into the air off my head and landed in the grass.

the cop was nice, genuinely concerned and had a really expensive trek police bike on his car.

i tried to catch up to them even with a flat back tire, but it took me a minute to get my head together

and begin the chase. their car pulled away from an intersection and sped towards a highway entrance as

it car entered my view.

they are lucky though, i probably would have sent all of them to the hospital in an adrenaline rage.

my neck feels stiff.

i should add that at the time my mind was dead set on biking straight through their open window and into their seats to fuck them up.

it makes me laugh now. lol

I'm 100% sure the people in that car live totally miserable lifes and will die knowing that no one loved them, and no one will miss them. No need to take vengeance.

damn. reminds me of that awful scene in the beginning of 'a time to kill". some people are just fucking dicks.

there's a bike route here that i ride to visit a friend, and cars drive 55 mph there with absolutely shoulder.

because many hundreds of cars pass through each hour during the day, i only ride it at night with lights flashing all over.

but then someone told me their mailbox gets completely run over by drunks at night 3 to 6 times a year..

it'll really make you hate people or some people anway..

When I was like 9 or 10 years old, I waited for a big truck to drive down the street, then I threw a glass bottle under its front tire. It didn't crush the bottle, but spun wildly then flew back at me and hit me in the shin.

well it might as well had been my skull.

i had my helmet fully attached, strapped and secured, and the impact hit so hard it still ripped it off my head.

i wonder what would had happened if the helmet weren't on?

that's pretty fucked up. idiots like to yell stupid things out their passenger window at me (like some dumb bitch who said "you're supposed to ride on the sidewalk!"), but i've never had anything actually thrown in my direction.

in other news, i just got back from the world's smallest critical mass. Ottawa as a biking city is great, but seriously, 8 people showed up. in Toronto it's hundreds.

I'd like to throw in my support for critical mass, but one almost got my ass fired for missing a court hearing, and so now I'm just tempted to plot ways to murder everyone.

Why do people hate cyclists? What's funny or shameful about bikes?
