Acid/Techno/Jungle/Dubstep/Glitch and more Featuring: OXYNUCID (Complex Sound Sagacity/The Centrifuge) VOLITUNE (Swishcotheque/Alphabetset/Eves/CSS) KIRSTI (Null+Void) URSA (The Centrifuge Radio Show - Free-lectronica Resident) ---------------------------------------- OXYNUCID (b. Dominick Schofield), is a classically trained musician, gaining prowess in electronic music. After ten years playing keys (in electro-indie band Turncoat), he left to pursue a solo career. He quickly began working with The Centrifuge, releasing a string of acclaimed EPs & tracks - combining his electro tendencies & braindance influences, to shape lush melodic electronic pieces. Remix duty followed, for labels from dance to experimental. Oxynucid performs with the likes of reel-to-reels & Korg MS-10s. 2010 was a busy year for Oxynucid, a new EP (Complex Sound Sagacity, Malta), an LP working with Berlin’s Vertical67, on the Moth Conk Midi project (Caoutchou Recordings, Belgium) & a Symbiotix follow-up, with Mrs Jynx (Planet Mu). VOLITUNE - Volitune' is a producer and musician from the Uk. He produces Electronica music spanning genres such as 1980s Eletronic music, Acid house, Techno, Jungle, Big Beat and Disco with shimmering melodies and an old skool sound with a new twist. In a live situation he plays the Bass Guitar and various Analogue Synthesisers. He has released Eps and tracks on Compilations on labels inc Eves Records, Swishcotheque Complex Sound Sagacity and The Centrifuge, plus many remixes on Schwa Records, CSS and recently on the Alphabet set (Irish Label). His First EP release was Binary Waves in 2008 and was on ARP Records and is soon to be remastered for a free download and a Tape for sale with extra tracks on his Website. More releases are planned inc a split Ep with Rotodrone, a Vinyl Ep and more free free releases due out at the end of this year. He has Played alongside Artists which have included DMX Krew (Rephlex), T-Wock (abc), Mrs Jynx (Planet Mu), Oxynucid (The Centrifuge), Automatic Tasty (Lunar Disks, EVES), Vertical67 (Actroplane), Cignol (abc) in London/Berlin/Dublin and Sunderland. KIRSTI [Null+void] - pounding electro based beats from the brains behind null+void Blog, Kirsti's played for crews Plex, Brackout, Wrong Music, The Centrifuge and Wang. kirstinullandvoid.tumblr.com URSA has been making music for 15 years and DJing for 10, covering a whole host of styles until settling on a mixture of leftfield beats, glitches, amens and Bass. Currently the host of The Centrifuge Radio Show on Brap.FM, he'll be drawing together the disparate elements of the night, covering everything from ambient drones to balls-out jungle and everything in between.
