Way to twist the knife osc. Geogaddi will have to wait until I've finished playing my Music70 'Twoism' tape.

Pffft, where's my reel-to-reel copy of Catalog 3?

i think the trolling has gone on long enough.

sorry, i'm not selling you my copy of The Campfire Headphones, no matter how much ambivalence i have towards it.

i hope you find it though, although i have seen it at a ridiculous price lately http://twitpic.com/5sjo99

honestly mate, that thumb of yours is fucked up! lol

Have to say I'm amazed at how much the Warp vinyls are going for. I think it was about five years ago I made a clean sweep in Selactadisc Nottingham and got Geogaddi, TCH and TCH-EP for less than £40, but they seem to have been selling for ever more extortionate prices for about the same time. I really think Warp would make a killing repressing these while undermining the investment of the likes of osc and meself (not that I'd sell any of my records unless I was on the brink of homelessness). Maybe this could be something they could do to revive their fortunes after the Sony warehouse episode?

Just an afterthought (and no trolling), do vinyl collectors here primarily go after copies on wax per se, or inital pressings?

i personally try to go for original pressings wherever possible. M or NM ones too, so it gets expensive. really disappointed to learn that at least one of my autechre albums (Chiastic Slide) isn't an original pressing.

I've got the Japanese CD release with BRC/WARP 2005 catalogue and OBI-strip, all in mint condition...

wax + initial pressing, innit.

even if Warp repress old BoC, the new ones aint gonna be as sought after/collectable as the original pressing.

so you and osc are safe there. repressings are often cheaper, worse quality, too.

Me too, one of my favourite Warp / Beat CDs as McQuarie Ridge is possibly the best bonus track there is (apart maybe from Miamivice, which isn't strictly exclusive).

I have TCH, but thanks for the offer. Have pretty much all of them but missing Campfire and I'm not paying £50 on Discogs, so if anyone has a spare or wants to sell name your price.

That's the one I went for too. that song is so worth it. the last time a Japan bonus track was even close was Plaid - Double Figure w/ "Fell"

The Japanese bonus on Clarks 'Totems Flare' is pretty awesome as well; a twenty minute beatless industrial/dronescape with multiple movements called 'Steepgrass 5'.

Why is Geogaddi so go damned hard to find at not a ridiculous price? ($300 on amazon :wtf:) and why was there never any BoC vynils in any shops by me ever?...

I just want Music Has The Right and Geogaddi on vynil at least...

if i was boc i would repress the fuck out of these rare albums and sell them as if they were used for the 300 dollar price
