Hey, thanks very much for the constructive feedback! I'm going to go back to my mix now actually. Couple of things you pointed out I needed to hear

because I've been a bit concerned about certain false levels (mainly bass) on my setup recently, I'm unfortunately without my normal speakers at the moment (busted input) so I'm a bit out of my comfort zone and I've been having to do a bit of level guestimation and running about like crazy listening on other systems. This was one live take with a little multitracking later so I'll definitely look at that synth level for the next take. After another listen, I hear what you're pointing out with the beats too and I'll be doing some adjustment. Cheers!!
