Home Video. what ever happened to...

Anybody remember that band that signed to Warp in the mid 00's, called "Home Video"?

i thought they were alright, but they dissapeared...

they were supposed to have an album come out on Warp, like... 6 years ago, or something...

anyone know what happened to them?

they did release a couple of EP's on Warp - 'That You Might' and 'Citizen EP', but that was it, afaik.

they sounded quite 'promising'... to my ears.

Yeah, I've both their EPs, had a great sound.

According to wikipedia there was an album out last year and their FB page shows activity so I guess they're still at it.

had a quick looksee on the tube earlier and there's quite a lot of tracks up there by them!

i guess they must've signed to someone else (not sure who yet) and released their album with them instead of Warp... or Warp decided against releasing it for some reason. it has that track, 'Dialogue' from the That You Might EP on there...

looks like they've done a couple of albums since then. but one persons comment was that a lot of their tracks feature on The OC?

and i'm guessing he means that rubbish program about a bunch of kids in California...? so i think i've drastically gone off them now! haha. their more recent stuff does sound a lot more 'poppy', i suppose...
