So I was trying out my very freshly acquired DX9 and found that the Spiral Dance theme* sounded funny with that kind of plucked bass string sound preset.

Adding a few acid notes to the theme caught me in. The track is kinda epileptic but may sound funny to your ears. Feel free to let me know what you think about it :)

* Spiral Dance is an older track by mine ; listening to it now make me feel like I mixed it with some slippers on the ears but I plan to re-make it cause I love the mood it could have.

Original version here

Sounds a bit like deranged Sega Megadrive music which is a cool thing I'd say. Musically pretty complex. I enjoy listening to it although I wasn't entirely sure if it was my bag lol. I had to listen to this twice to really make more sense of it you know. Thumbs up for individuality!

love it man, deranged monkeying about. nice how you make it all fit together. subtle amens, subtle bleeps buried in the mix. good ending too.

the part in bold was much appreciated :)

indeed I tweaked it in a way it sounds complex but also wanted the track to sound fluid in the way each part would come after the previous one. Hope I didn't miss that.

thank you too ! that's funny you're two to tell me about monkeys here because it already happened on a forum for a track I made which have a vibe similar to this one. I don't want to advertise you but if you want to listen to this second track it's there.

Very nicely put together, this is really fun, quite an original sounding take on the chip tune style, It's like instant bullet hell, massive end boss music. Good job.

This track is a lot of fun, and I agree with all that's been said above ('cept Promo's bit about it not being his bag, because it's my bag.)

Do you have any releases?

Thanks a lot. I don't have any release yet and would like to put out a first free EP one of these days but I'm mixed between focusing on the EP / just following what tracks I feel I want to do without thinking about homogeneity between them. Because tracks I make are sometimes very different and I didn't find any strong connection between all of them yet

Also, I remember really enjoying some shorts work in progress you made and hope you're still working on something !
