spacewrekker
WATTM Online Risk Tournament (WATTMORT) Registering: - Go to http://www.conquerclub.com - Start a new free account or a paid account for $25, lasting one year. the paid account will allow you to play speed games with each player having only five minutes to take a turn, as opposed to twenty-four hours (the tourney will accommodate free account players) Tourney Details: - Number of Players: if we can get 16 people that'd be great - Gametype: Standard Singles: 16, 8, 4, 2 OR alternatively we could do Doubles Teams: 16, 4, 2 - Maps: classic, europe 1914, first nations north america, first nations south america, peloponnesian war are my favourite maps and are great for singles and doubles gametypes. - Initial Troop Deployment: Automatic - puts 3 troops on random territories for each player - Play Order: Sequential - Spoils: Flat Rate - 10 for mixed set (blue, red, green), 8 for blue set, 6 for red set, 4 for green set always - no escalation - Reinforcements: Chained or Adjacent - you can move troops from one territory to another once at the end of your turn as long as it's from a region connected by regions you own (Chained) or from a direct neighboring region (Adjacent). Adjacent requires you to plan your deployment and advances more carefully. - Fog of War: ON/OFF - ON = you cannot see territories held by other players, unless they are neighboring your regions. OFF = you can see all regions held by each player. - Round Length: you have 24 hours to take your turn. if you miss a turn, you will be given 3 additional troops at the start of your next turn, but will not be able to play them until the following turn. you can miss up to 3 turns before your territories revert to neutral. If you are interested, PM me or post it in a reply here. Once we have 16 guaranteed players yawl can start registering and i'll set the Tournament up. i've had a paid account for 2 years so i can get that started (i don't think you can start a Tournament unless you're a subscriber). Questions: - singles or doubles teams? - which map(s)? - chained or adjacent reinforcements? - fog of war on or off? pcock
also 16 players would be murderous at a 24 hour limit, it would take weeks to finish. would something like 4 not be better? basically how close is this to risk the board game? because i cant even imagine playing that with 16 peopel Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/68545-watmm-online-risk-tournament/#findComment-1649426 Share on other sites
