as far as i'm aware, all the stuff played in this set is unreleased

Reworked tracks mostly, some go back to 2005/6 even.

Can't help to imagine how incredible these tracks would sound on a nice big 70's modular setup, specially as I've been listening to a lot of new-age and ambient music from this period and it's very similar to Gerald's current works with the crazy arpeggios, sequenced bleeps and weird noises, with the dreamy evolving pads, which shouldn't be surprising since he's a fan of JMJ, TD and the lot, this type of sound on a digital synth sounds so lousy, doesn't work.

I like to think that the majority of Linear Accelerator was produced on a big modular synth... I have no info to support that though.

It would be closest thing to working in a lab musically speaking. He speaks in a interview how the interface is one of his top priorities and how he should be able to pick up a sound immediately without losing momentum, so he's probably not a big fan of modular synths.

Agreed on the lab thing, I definitely get sidetracked when working with mine most of the time, yet it's a really inspirational tool.

But that's a bit sad if he's all about working from presets :(
