Only song by them I loved after trying to find something else of theirs nearly as good is Dirge and videos of that song live.

Nice! Even though they have their up's and downs I've always liked Death in Vegas, so this is good news. Weird that it's not getting any publicity.

Yes, I love this album.

Picked it up in my local record store on Tuesday, didnt even realise it had been released.

CD1 is a very nice smooth "band" CD, very much a death in vegas album full of haunting stuff, some clubby bits and real downtempo melancholic vocal stuff. The single "Your Loft My Acid" is a real standout.

CD2 is wicked! Some clubby remixes of CD1 tracks, additional club orientated tracks in there too. I.W.Y.L.A is a standout so far for me, but there is a lot to absorb on this album.... with I had bought the 2xLP to be honest.

this is pretty fucking weird.... in like 2003 i was in tesco thinking to myself 'hmmm i wonder when death in vegas will have a new album out' and then turned a corner and lo and behold saw scorpio rising in the cd section...

then a couple of years later had a similar thought and about two weeks later satan's circus was released

ffwd to now, yesterday i think to myself 'waaaa i wish death in vegas hadn't disappeared, i'd love to hear a new album by them', one hour later i'm browsing itunes and bam, album released a fortnight ago.

i fucking love my brain. btw this hasn't worked with aphex twin.

The album is getting really good reviews, everywhere.

I had a quick listen and thought it was okay, probably needs a few more spins.
