Brilliant new Mogwai track

A lot of their stuff is hit or miss for me. This is definately HIT!

I have seen them live they have a lot of potential

i like their subtler, lesser-produced, bass-lead, emotive tracks... the sort of shit that headlined their YT-THIH era, they seemed to fall off that sound afterwards though... anything like that on the new album/ep?

and o00o, talk about an understatement... their known to make that potential becomes kinetic in a heartbeat, especially when playing live... an excellent act, to say the least.

they really know how to build up a track, last album wasn't as great as their earlier stuff but this and white noise were highlights for me

I didn't expect a lot from Earth Division so wasn't too disappointed. Have to agree with the OP though, the one track that justified coughing up for the EP was Drunk and Crazy, epic track. But for fuck's sake, I wish they'd give up on using vocals for good, 'superfluous' is being generous and I can't think of many Mogwai tracks that benefit from them (vocodered bits on Happy Songs aside).
