No details yet, untimely dead regardless. He was one the electro-house guys I liked and respected a little more than his contemporaries, including those on Ed Banger. I never saw him live but I've heard he put on an excellent, no-frills DJ sets. RIP

I read earlier that part of a ceiling somewhere came down and killed him? How true this is I don't know.

Very sad, I liked him a lot. RIP.

UPDATE, 11:42 a.m.:According to French site Liberation Next, the accident happened at DJ Mehdi's home, when the mezzanine collapsed and fell several meters. Three others have been hospitalized.

UPDATE, 11:30 a.m.: According to Le Monde, the PR agency Phunkster confirmed to 20 Minutesthat there aren't any more details about the death of Mehdi, though it seems that he fell from a mezzanine level with some other people. Others are reporting he fell off a roof.

Very sad indeed.

It's great, rather funky, a good gift made by Ed Rec.

very true, I saw him in Vancouver a couple years ago, he had so much energy and was very playful with the crowd.
