drum n bass song, made in reason 5 + record

it's not the final version, i'm going to do some more work on the drums. but still. please give it a listen and say what you think.

one thing i thought about is that it feels kind of cheap that i just put breakbeats over simple 4/4 parts, i'll probably try to add some variation to the signature when it comes to basslines and melodies as well so it's not just the drums sometimes doing something weird.

the drums and bass sound kind of one dimensional and flat, you might want to add a stonger snare and maybe some sub bass.

i started with tweaking this one up a bit but evently just added new parts rather than fixing the existing ones so i'll have even more to mix. arrgh. i'll post the newer version today some time

Yeah, why's everything in the mid to high range. EQ your instruments for some aural seperation. It'll make everything more satisfying.

yeah, that's what i did/am doing now. i was going to upload the next version, but it's not really ready yet.

Yeah, this is very mid-range sounding. I liked the melodies. Needs some belly. Keep on it.

i actually like tracks that sound like this with regards to EQ. has a more video game sound, as we rarely hear the bass of VGM when we are playing as our tv's are tube mammoths from 1993.
