Exact same where I work as well (Co-op), it amazes me that a third of a whole year is wasted on marketing for one day. At least at this time they do everything pretty cheap, I nearly cried with joy today when I got a yard of Jaffa Cakes for £3.

I haven't even got any plans for Halloween, but I've been thinking about my costume already.

I'm considering the YipYip aliens from Sesame Street or a bucket of KFC.

I think a thread needs to be made for costume ideas/inspiration. I'm going to Mulletover for fancy dress on halloween and need something good. Last year a few people I know went as umpa lumpas, which did look good, but I need something original and fucking cool.

I've already spotted two houses fully decorated for halloween.

Gonna be getting my Halloween shit up in the next week or two. My favorite time of year.

I want to go as Zap Brannigan but I had too much trouble with the costume last year so i just went as The Dude and drank white russians all night.

Might build a dalek costume.

Lol, so all there decorations will look old and tatty by the time the actual day come around. And on top of that to the local viewer their decorations will look passé. This is no way to impress the neighbourhood i tells ya.

one of my housemates is decorating for halloween at the moment.. i don't think it's that strange. people get a kick out of it and it's only about a month away. 4 weeks of looking at goofy spooky shit outside isn't that infuriating to me
