a Muslimgauze sample hunt

Okay, I know this is a long shot, but here goes:

On Muslimgauze's 'Remixs 2' (1998), nearly every track features what are clearly samples of synthy knob twiddling. I had always assumed that these noises were samples he had recorded himself.

But while listening to Susumu Yokota's 'Acid Mt. Fuji' (1994) today I noticed the same exact noises (albeit processed) throughout track 7 (Oponchi).

Clearly Jones did not get the sounds from Yokoto's album since they are further processed in Oponchi. Does anybody recognize these sounds or know anything about their origin?
