This guy's music is growing on me. I'm not into house music usually, but this stuff is different somehow. One of my favorites for the year.

His first album is pretty good. Pitchfork rated this album 8.0 yesterday. This might be good LOL.

apparently Omar Souleyman does have a new album out on Sublime Frequencies, and some Bjork remixes (!), but I have not heard them.

Who puts porn samples in their music in this day and age good gracious.

Only listened to a bit of this but it hasn't quite grown on me quite yet. His earlier albums Oasis Collaborating and Just Ask The Lonely are great, though.

for me, its either love it all, or hate it all. Omar S music doesn't really fit in with other house/techno.

Doesn't it? How so?
