Sports or "football" subforum??? VOTE!

I figure a single forum that is just about soccer on an IDM message board is a bit dull. It's just, like, my opinion, man.

Every single nhl/ANYTHING THAT IS NOT SOCCER thread gets flushed to the bottom. i dislike it.

yes i said soccer. make a sports subforum, not a "football" subforum. JR needs to let go of the fack he aint english.

there's only a football subforum because there was a lot of football threads during the world cup or something (plus the pinned fantasy football thread). it's not like that the rest of the time. sports forum would make more sense. might need it when the olympics start.. probably not though.

I clicked the wrong option, make it a sports forum.

The soccer forum makes me go 'Ha Ha...' , it's kind of absurd.

exactly. this is a music forum. get rid of it. football or any other sport can be discussed in genban. it can fill the void left by poop and tits.

If there is to be a subforum then it should be about sports in general, if it stays as only for football then get rid of it and keep any sports dicussion in gen ban.

football subforum gets used more than some featured artists

the man has a point, get rid of some of the featured artists subforums while your at it.

But I think it should be called the Sports subforum instead. Wouldn't hurt.

I dunno... do we really need a subforum not related to music anymore? It does get used, but honestly, with the new tags system, all these posts could be tagged 'football/soccer' and found via a tag search in General Banter.

Should we edit the poll to see if we need a subforum for this anymore?

I never go in the football forum. All I know is that it seems to show up at the top of the genban page, making it appear more prominent than I'm sure it is.

It just seems silly to me that there is a subforum for soccer, when there are lots of other popular sports.

Either way, I could care less if it got deleted.

I follow football and other sports (Formula 1) but for me there is no need to have a separated subforum for that. I suggested movies subforum long time ago but there was the same discussion about existence of Football/Soccer and that nobody wants to have movie threads separated fom genban.

i voted for keeping it, but tbh a film forum would make a ton of more sense.
