Guest Jimbob
Thanks guys, @Megapussi: there's more on my Soundcloud that might be more to your tastes cheers Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/68957-185-bpm-drumfunk/#findComment-1663734 Share on other sites
Guest Swurl
Really loved that intro. the harmonizing you do with that snare is really great. Everything has a nice spacey and light feeling and i think the lack of heavy snare hits contributes well to that. Reminds me of my favourite early 90s DnB tracks. Guest Ricky Downtown
really nice break you got there. my only critique is that the intro needs some more variation and you might try adding in some bass...other than that real nice track! Guest Alex0112
Man I just can't get that groove in the first half of the track out of my head. Do you play drums yourself? I listened to some other stuff on your soundcloud and your beats sound very organic. Beat for coppa plaice....is this some dusty 70's vinyl samplin or original work? Guest Jimbob
thanks Alex, I do play drums or I would if I had the money/space for a kit, the majority of the drums on those tracks are from the usual library of funk breaks and solos etc, but edited so as to retain as much of the original swing as possible that beat btw is just a sample from this track that I've cleaned up and quantatised for a friend of mine. Not my work, sorry! [youtubehd]l6Wn7Bk-ebo[/youtubehd] Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/68957-185-bpm-drumfunk/#findComment-1670526 Share on other sites
