Battlefield 3 Beta

Anyone play MOH and get the early code? I did an just been playing, seems pretty good but a lot more like COD than BF, at least in the beta map.

Been playing man. Add me up on Origin: same name as here. I like it. They went w/ a more arcadey style to compete w/ COD. I think it's a good mix. A lot like BC series, not so much BF series. Wait for the maps w/ vehicles etc to judge it for real though.

I feel like it must be a very early beta, they can't possibly be expecting to release this is a month. The graphics are like Rainbow six from 8 years ago.

Still good fun, but the toss up between COD or BF3 its going to be COD.

I think the graphics are sweet. What's your rig? Release is Oct 25th I believe.

I didn't get MOH, so I have to wait a couple days. But I'll definitely be playing the beta on PS3. Maybe on PC, maybe. I definitely have a PC capable of running BF3 on max settings at 1080p. We'll see...

I've got an i7920 @ 3.2GHz w/ 6GB of RAM and a GTX580. Playing @ 1600x900 AA, Ultra/High details, no problems. I got the early access for pre-ordering early (May lol)

Its a beta guy, it doesn't represent the final at all. They have it all toned down to get as many people playing it so that they can test the servers and stuff make sure they can handle shit.

I have a key but my Mother Board decided to fail on me the day before I got it. So now I wait till tomorrow or thursday for my new board so I can get to playin :)

Yeah think your right, was thinking the same thing, but some betas like the Gears 3 beta was just the same as the main game when it was released.

Red Orchestra 2 just takes the cake for me in every way. Highly doubt i'll even buy BF3.

BF seems like fun. I didn't mind Red Orchestra but I can't say i'm anticipating the release of the sequel. I will say that I am looking forward to MW3 lol. I play it with my father. He's good.

The battlelog system is fucking horrible though, I hope the get a classic menu going.

RO2 is super buggy and pretty annoying, it does have its moments though. The cover-system is really good.

Well, I'm not sure I'll be playing cod now that I've got the bf3 beta. But the good news is that the beta opens for everyone tomorrow - so you can give it a go yourself.

Lol, so true! I converted to xbox only a few years ago like < 5 years, and I couldn't go back. Plus when you spend your time working on the computer its nice to move locations for your gaming.

I actually like the battlelog system. It's all browser based, and there is rarely a time when the browser isn't open on my computer. Plus, you launch games from the browser so i just left the page up all day

It's a disgrace in my opinion. Only way to change system settings and keybindings is by joining a server and actually spawning on the map to access the menu, just pathetic.

Once you set it up the first time how often do you change it? Because I never touch them again : shrug:
