Using unreleased tracks in a DJ-mix - any consequences?

Yeah I already used Google but it I couldn't find any good information. I already learned that I should put my mix up on mixcloud and not soundcloud, because otherwise I could have copyright issues.

But there are two tracks - one from Addison Groove, another one from Young Monatana - which I love to death and which I ripped from their soundcloud page. I want to use them in a DJ-Mis I want to put up on mixcloud - could I get problems for this?

I've never heard of anyone caring about this. I was hoping Prince would phone me personally when I put I Would Die 4 U in a mix but I didn't hear a peep out of him, the utter bastard

As long as you don't try and sell the mix you should be cool.

Okay thanks... I personally think it is okay. If people release stuff on their soundcloud it means they are probably happy with the result and will release it quite soon... not always, but... anyway

That would have been great. could you imagine picking up the phone and saying "hello" and then hearing "Hello, this is prince". Fucking hell i would pee myself right there.
