The more I listen to this track, the more I think it's one of my all time favourites of his. I was gonna ask, who elses misses that period of really basic sounds, flutes, sparse dark melodies etc, but luckily there are a few tracks around from that era. Still. Wabby legs just came on and it's just as brilliant. did anybody get first contact with his music when this stuff was released? if so, what was your impression? If you came upon his stuff before then, that's also acceptable. Maybe joyrex has some interesting story to offer?

Me. I still adore all of the newer stuff of course, I just love his old style. It would be fantastic to hear unreleased stuff from that time period.

 

He should just release that Caustic Window LP on Rephlex.com.

 

Also, starting at 3:48 in Wabby Legs: fuck yes.
