Guest arbee
you should first tell what you're working with: osx or windows ?? if your on pc, you have like millions of choices. on osx you have less less choices. try this for algorythmic: http://magnus.smartelectronix.com/#effects TAL stuff is awesome too (plate reverb - both osx and pc): http://kunz.corrupt.ch/products/tal-reverb try this for convulsion (pc only for the free "LE" version): http://www.liquidsonics.com/software_reverberate_le.htm Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/69097-good-free-reverb-plug-ins/#findComment-1665752 Share on other sites
Lucas
Coowl, I was actually thinking about writing the very same thread this morning ! What I use is SIR, a good (IMO!) convolution reverb which exists in a free version (which has a latency that won't allow you to process sounds in real time but you can use it as much as you want on each track of your project which doesn't need real time rendering). That said I'm tired of using the same impulse responses every time so I'd like to try something else ; I think I'll get TAL because I've heard of it several times. Also I'm open to any other suggestion (if you know good impulses library my ears are all opened !). PS : a friend of mine told me to try epicverb but I can't manage to use it properly :( but it's supposed to be powerfull so you might want to check it Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide Lucas's signature Hide all signatures antape @ soundcloud Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/69097-good-free-reverb-plug-ins/#findComment-1665763 Share on other sites

Guest Promo
This is the reverb I've used a lot of http://www.kvraudio.com/get/717.html but generally I prefer to use delay than reverb these days. Guest kwikshot
http://magnus.smartelectronix.com Ambience! This is pretty much my favourite free reverb, my favourite reverb for that matter...(not that I've done too much looking around at reverbs!) It is very nice and he has recently removed the nag-screen so it is pretty much no longer donation-ware :) Does everything I need and is much better than Ableton Live's built-in reverb (although that still has it's uses!) as I find Live's reverb begins to slightly fall apart on longer decay times and get a bit sketchy and grainy, Ambience does this perfectly imo so I find it great for huge roomy ambient sounds (sounds as good as Logic's Space Designer imo) EDIT: Just realised that arbee beat me to it! Most importantly it's nice on the CPU compared to many reverb plugins! Guest arbee
oh yeah so everything in this thread is pretty cool (except for pc only stuff cause I haven tried it, lol). and if you want to spend a few bucks, just look at valhalla stuff: http://www.valhalladsp.com/ it's pretty cheap and amazing algorhytmic reverbs. the room is awesome and I'm absolutely in love with his shimmer reverb. amazing stuff ! and I know that since it's not free I'm off-topic, but I just love to spread valhalla love everywhere !
