I know it's been 3 years Redruth, but I was searching for watmm threads mentioning Chihei and was absolutely shocked to find pretty much none. This guy's growing collection of releases absolutely blow me away time and time again. He has a knack for taking my mind places.. I always feel like i'm laying out in the sun next to the river and the time is slowly flowing by.

Chihei's material is great for sure. I could have posted several albums of his over the years but the vast majority of WATMM users aren't that into contemporary ambient music, seems like. That being said, you'll most likely dig the new Opitope album that came out not too long ago:

Chihei's other half in Opitope, Tomoyoshi Date, is in a duo called Illuha, if you're not familiar. All three of their releases are excellent.
