Missing sample at the start of The Funnies?

I was aware of the robot talking at the start of The Funnies; but when I downloaded a copy of SIMYL from Bleep it seemed to have disappeared, which was mildly jarring. Checking on Youtube, other copies don't have this intro either.

So, does anybody else have the intro missing? I'm suspecting it might've been a copyright control thing.

I've never known about a robot talking in The Funnies. Is it right at the beginning? The version I've got starts with the dog barking. Woofwoof-woofwoof... Do you know how long this original version is?

My version of The Funnies is 3:38 long - they sell one at discogs which is 3:56, so you are right, solarion. The rest of the tracks on the album have the same lengths as the version I've got, ±2 seconds, so it was quite hidden. Well spotted, and thanks for alerting about it. Looking forward to the 18 extra seconds.

Aw no, discogs, ninja tune and beatport also sell the 3:38 version. But both discogs and wikipedia verify the existence of a 3:58 version. This should be salvaged.

On my CD it's 3:38. I bought the album pretty much right when it came out, ZENCD91 “Made in Canada”

The sample is from the original disneyland ride Star Tours, would love to know how Luke got the sample!

when i downloaded the album this sample was all up in my shit. it isn't on my hard copy and it doesn't really make the tune any better but it is still neat to hear.

i still have the pirated mp3 if anyone is interested i mean pm me i love music watmm for lyfe.
