Danzig has scheduled a "Legacy" show in NYC at Hammerstein Ballroom. "Legacy" = Danzig material, Samhain material, and Danzig performing Misfits with fellow original Misfit Doyle von Frankenstein Tickets for "Danzig - The Legacy Tour" at Hammerstein Ballroom on Oct 29th are on sale now. Tickets also just went on sale for for an October 23rd Gwar show. It's going to be a Happy Halloween (I just wish Pete Steele would come back from the grave and schedule a Type O show that week too).

The Danzig show is one of four 'Legacy' dates scheduled. He'll also hit Riotfest in Chicago, spend the actual Halloween at Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal City Walk in Universal City, CA and appear at Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin (again).

I got my tix for the LA show. This is going to be AWESOME!

Surprise openers Asesino and Corrosion of Conformity.

COC was a bit of a disappointment. Time hasn't been kind to them. They used to be so good :(

Danzig was amazing though. He was super energetic and put on a great show. I think it was the best I've seen him perform (out of 3 concerts, including once with the original line-up). The crowd was about 70% in costume too. Healthy mosh pits. Samhain & Misfits tunes all night. London May, Steve Zing and Doyle all played. What not to like?
