Poppy deep vocal Hip Hop

Ez guys this is a collab between me and my good mate Christopher Love aka GadManDubs. He did all the vocals and the music I made. Just wanna see what ya guys and girls reckon! This is sort of the first demo as my sister wants to do a soprano on the chorus. Nice one.

listened. sorry but don't really like the drums, or the general groove of the track...i think you've done a good job to attempt something like this though. it sounds well mastered and produced to my ears and i'm sure there's a lot of people who would dig it...just not for me though sorry.

I just realized your logo looks kind of like The Orb's logo in reverse

As for the track itself - I like his voice but the lyrics are kinda goofy & his flow could stand to be a bit tighter in places. Backing track fits pretty well...I think the bassline might be a tad too repetitive given that it's one of the more prominent elements & it sounds like a fairly simple synth patch.

Yeah Chris just eq'd the hell out of his recording and made it sound pretty fuckin' sweet. The dude knows what he's doing. Plus we only used my dynamic mic lol. Yeah I guess I knew it wasn't likely to be to folks taste here but as you rightly observed I was trying something different. I'm gonna have a play with it tonight so open to suggestions however I do wanna keep it on a 'deep pop' tip.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll have a play with it tonight. I get what you're saying about it sounding a bit repetative. Anyways Chris just freestyled right off the top of his head. Gotta stand my ground tho on the lyrics lol and say I like em. I don't really want any mc spitting shit on my track that's about hate, violence or ott bragging lol and Chris is a conscious MC. So do you reckon I should change the bassline notes or the patch itself?

^I think the patch works fine, it just might seem a bit more dynamic if you threw a second riff in a few places.
