Best free Spring Reverb?

Ez guys can you guys recommend a good free vst Spring reverb? Ta.

He said 'Good free' not 'A free' The only one I've had any experience with is XoXos' Spring VST ( http://www.xoxos.net...st.html#effects ), although I can't really remember it being that great I also don't remember it being shite either.

There's probably better free ones out there though ....

Or maybe get down with some legit shit?...... Research and buy a top shelf VST pack?

Dude you're being a jerk. It's perfectly reasonable to ask a community for suggestions.

There's a pretty good spring reverb sim in the Native instruments Guitar rig, if you want that dub sound (I'm not sure it's the one called spring reverb, I think maybe it's called something else). I think they made a free version of guitar rig but I don't know if the reverbs are included.

Yeah nice site, lots of tips and tricks, also usable for other things than dub.

spring tank from Reaktor takes the cake for me. There are people who will tell you using Reaktor for one effect is 'overkill' and unnecessary, those people should not be listened to whatsoever

I'm also looking for a software version, have you found a good one yet Promo? I've tried a couple of free ones, but one didn't work and the other didn't sound like a spring reverb at all lol

I've been playing with Softube Spring Reverb. Its okay but I guess needs playing with. I think there's probably an art to getting the right bong. I just did a tune actually with it well demo so maybe I'll post that up.

Here is something. I doubt its realistic and all the default values are set to the middle so you have to tweak it and know what you're doing to get the most out of it but I think it makes some good effect sounds.
